Christian delusionoids tend to be quite touchy

stop me if you've heard this one before...

an educated person pokes fun at the idiocy of the church and all its propaganda, the church freaks out, gets angry and says YOU CAN'T FUCKING DO THAT. (okay, maybe they don't scream it in all caps and use the word "fucking", but still.)

apparently, the above picture posted at the church of the flying spaghetti monster site did just that -- pissed off folks who saw it as slanderous.

uh... yah.

slanderous is scaring people into believing fairytales, telling them that non-christians deserve to rot in "hell" for eternity, to eschew using condoms during sex because "god" doesn't approve.

THAT'S fucking slanderous, you wretched, delusional crackpots.

get over yourselves. join the living. read a fucking science journal.

  1. So, all the "god-men" who died "for our sins" in the centuries before the Jesus Club came along were slandered by Christianity's theft of their meme.... Hmmmm. OK.

  3. Are they pissed for their own sake or for Jesus? Cause I have a hard time seeing Jesus getting all bent out of shape over this.

  4. rarely do christians have jesus' best interests in mind. it's all for self. they wanna live happily ever after in make-believe land and most of the crazy that they do is just part of their overall effort to protect themselves. if they only took a second to have a clear, rational, independent thought, they would realize that they're chasing pipedreams, that their efforts would be better be used for real life work rather than laboring towards the fruits of fantasy.

  5. I wasn't raised religious but my mom sent me and my 4 siblings to a summer bible school just to get us out of the house. When they would tell us story about Jesus and God I just thought they were fairytales like Rumplestiltskin or Goldilocks, all of the stories were fantasy and had some moral so it made sense to my 9 year-old brain. I remember being kind of confused when I realized other people actually believed the bible stories, even as a kid I thought "Can people really be that dumb?"

  6. yep. they can be, p-swayze. unlike you, i was raised in it, forced into it. and until i became old enough to think for myself, i had no reason at all to think my elders were serving me a bunch of bullshit. i was at the end of a long string of lies that had been passed down as truth. the scary part now is that those "dumb" folks have a heavy hand in running our schools, our government, our infrastructure.... and i'm not comfortable with loony toons having such power.

  7. Actually, "slanderous" means "a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report". The things you described are not really slanderous. They're just religious abuse.

  8. semantics, semantics, semantics.... i stand by my usage of the word. it's slanderous to the human race to make a REAL, LIVE, HUMAN BEING a slave to make-believe and fairy tales.
