xenu? seriously?

think about that.

we can't call them nuts. we have to respect their freedom to believe whatever they want, even though they believe this crazy guy in the sky is the reason we exist.

it's fucking horseshit.

  1. We can call them crazy. That doesn't interfere with their freedom to believe silly stuff in any way. It's not like we could force them to stop believing no matter what we say.

In fact, since people generally hang on to their erroneous beliefs even tighter in the fact of opposition, we are probably doing them a "favor" by strengthening their faith when we point out that they are nuts.

  2. The Hubble Space telescope looks into space and sees the wonders of the Universe. The (L. Ron) Hubbard telescope looks into the sky and sees imaginary beings.
I prefer the beauty of reality.

  3. if their (religious folks in general) lunacy didn't affect the outcomes of everything else (educational, social, international policies, etc) then i'd be cool with just sittin' back and lettin' 'em believe any old bullshit they want; unfortunately, those crazy fucks are heavily involved in my life, whether i want them to be or not, so i can't shut up about it.
