as a whole, we have to be one of the dumbest nations on the planet. jesus is gonna come down and save us? god doesn't like gay people? and we should eat burgers for breakfast?

Yet, probably it is no worse for your health than 90% of the other things people eat for breakfast. I'm not really sure how something could be "healthy" at one time of the day and "unhealthy" at another, anyway.

I've been on 4 continents. The rocketing rate of American Stupidity is alarming. But I'm convinced it was planned and methodically imposed. If we're stupid, we're predictable. That's the way "they" like us; like stupid sheep. They squash the individual like a roach. They disappear the thinkers. They've taken the American Revolutionary Spirit from us all. And no one complained or even noticed because we still have the ability to buy nice clothes, take a note on a cool car, watch MTV, play video games and FaceBook like freaks.. We are cornered as a proletariat for the affect of economic predictability. As long as we're entertained we could care less what Civil Liberties get squashed and taken from us in the night. Benjamin Franklin said "those who so freely give up their civil liberties for the sake of safety deserve neither." I'm going away before I get disappeared too.
