The latest markus schulz brainfry

markus schulz has been doing sexy time on my ears for a long time now (though i didn't realize he was quite the prolific producer until recently!). his tracks are the kind that sorta sneak into my consciousness only to resurface later, when things like environment and mood combine to make sweet, sweet love. his melodies seem to dance out of that... and i'm glad they do.

the latest to hypnotize me is this 65.4Hz track... which will really take you over around the 3:24 mark.

Fuckin' waves, man

if you're in the trance music/dance scene, it doesn't take long to notice there are a lot of references to the "wave".

it's everywhere.

the wave.

everywhere.

personally, i like the motif.

for those who drug in the dance scene, the "wave" is often understood as that life-changing transformation into ecstasy. for me it's simply the endorphin high i get from allowing tone to affect me. to you, it might be something else... or, nothing at all.

but, no matter what it is, i think we can all agree that it is cliche.

and that was just a really strange way of introducing this wavy song as better than cliche... i think.
